What the Demon Killer Is
In trading, “demons” aren’t mythical creatures — they’re the emotional slips and bad habits that quietly drain your edge.
This tool helps you spot them, track them, and kill them off one by one.
“Demons will destroy your edge. Learn from your errors. Your future profitability depends on killing the demons.”
How to Use the Demon Killer
- Mark every mistake — Each time you commit an error, check the box for that session.
- Find your top demon — The one with the most marks is costing you the most. Focus on crushing it first.
- Move on to the next — Once you beat one demon, go to the next.
- Warning sign — If the same demon shows up 10 times in a row, it’s not a fluke. That’s a deeper block. Pause and reassess.
Meet Your Trading Demons
Every trader has a weak spot. This list names them so you can face them directly.
- Poor Risk/Reward Trade – Taking a setup where the math was never in your favor.

- Exited Too Early – Cashing out too soon because fear whispered louder than logic.
- Exited Too Late – Hoping instead of managing risk.
- Trade Not in Trading Plan – Letting emotions lead, not your system.
- Incorrect Stop Placement – Protecting the trade wrong, or not at all.
- Wrong Position Size – Size that doesn’t match the risk.
